Tired of climbing into that dark and cold attic for the old Christmas decorations? Maybe your home is becoming too cluttered and you could do with some extra space for storage? Or, you could simply do with an extra room in the house?
Standard Attic Conversion Design & Build
- 2 large Velux roof windows approx. size 46″ x 46 in main room.
- 1 Velux roof window approx. size 26″ x 28″ in new hall.
- Stair case with handrail and spindles leading from existing landing to Attic (one or two turn staircases supplied and fitted)
- Flooring with heavy duty RSJ Steel beams with a suspended floor.
- Dwarf stud walls to purling level supported on heavy duty steel beams
- Kingspan Thermal Insulation
- Kingspan thermal board insulation in ceiling void.
- 1200 gauge vapour barrier fitted through out.
- All walls covered with Plasterboard and skimmed to a smooth finish.
- 2 access hatches
- Existing Water tank moved and refitted
- Half hour Fire Door with partitioned wall in Attic
- 6 x sunken lights in ceiling in Attic. (Double switched from existing Landing and Attic.) 3 x double sockets. 1 smoke alarm.
- 1 Double panel radiator sealing of system included.
- Skirting board and architrave Trim fitted throughout the conversion.
- 2 x switched lights in storage areas
- 1 tv point. 1 Phone point.
Dormer Attic Conversion Design & Build
- 1 x dormer window with cladding to match existing and white pvc windows roof tiles to match existing tiles (size per plan).
- Stair case with handrail and spindles leading from existing landing to Attic one or two turn staircase as required moving of bedroom wall included if required.
- 200 Square feet of flooring with heavy duty Steel beams with a suspended floor.
- Dwarf stud walls to purling level supported on heavy duty steel beams to architects specification.
- Kingspan Thermal Insulation
- Kingspan thermal board insulation in ceiling void. As per new building regulations.
- 1200 gauge vapour barrier fitted through out.
- All walls covered with Plasterboard and skimmed to a smooth finish.
- 2 access hatches into eve’s area.
- Existing Water tanks moved to eve’s area.
